Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs all purchases of lawn care services from HiveRevive ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By purchasing a seasonal plan, subscription, or installment plan, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Principle

HiveRevive operates on a seasonal service model.

Refunds are only available for unfulfilled future services.

Completed services are non-refundable under all circumstances.

This policy applies to all payment methods, including:

  • Upfront seasonal payments
  • 6-month subscription plans (May-October)
  • Klarna installment payments

2. Completed Services

A service is considered completed once:

  • Lawn mowing has begun, or
  • Lawn mowing has been fully performed.

Completed services are non-refundable.

Services in progress are also non-refundable.

3. Unfulfilled Future Services

If a client cancels service before the season ends:

  • Only future, unperformed visits may be eligible for refund.
  • Refund amount is calculated based on the remaining unused portion of the seasonal value.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Missed visits due to weather (see Section 6)
  • Access restrictions
  • Client-prevented service

4. Access & Client-Caused Skips

If service cannot be completed due to:

  • Locked gates
  • Obstructed access
  • Pets not secured
  • Presence of pet waste
  • Undisclosed hazards

The visit may be skipped and still counted as fulfilled.

Such visits are not refundable.

5. Excessive Growth Fees

If a lawn becomes excessively overgrown due to skipped cycles or delayed access:

  • Additional service fees may apply.
  • Refusal to approve additional fees may result in termination of service.

Previously completed services remain non-refundable.

6. Weather Interruptions

Services are weather-dependent.

If heavy rain or prolonged conditions prevent mowing:

  • That cycle may be skipped.
  • Service resumes next scheduled rotation.

Missed weather-related visits are offered free toward the following season's plan.

Weather-related interruptions do not qualify for cash refunds.

7. Early Season End

If grass growth ends earlier than expected:

  • Remaining scheduled visits will not be performed.
  • Those missed cuts are offered free for the following season.

Cash refunds are not issued for natural seasonal early endings.

8. Company Termination of Service

If HiveRevive terminates service for any reason:

  • All unfulfilled future services will be refunded.
  • Completed services remain non-refundable.

This includes termination due to client misconduct or unsafe conditions.

9. Klarna & Installment Payments

For installment plans:

  • Refunds apply only to the unused service portion.
  • Klarna payment obligations remain subject to Klarna's own terms.
  • We refund the eligible amount to the original payment processor.

10. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.

11. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve an issue may result in:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Collection actions if services were already fulfilled
